Cthulhoid H.D.

H.D. had some strange theories that she laid out in her only real work of poetics, Notes on Thought and Vision.  She conceived of the creative aspect of one’s mind as a jelly-fish, extending from the “love region” to the brain.  She called it the overmind, and the way she describes it is actually quite disturbing.  Also very Freudian.  Connected?  You tell me.

This was also my first attempt at using Inkscape, since Photoshop Elements and Corel Painter Essentials (which I was really in love with) seem to have ceased working with my update to 10.6. Please forgive any mistakes I made with the program, but I’m going for sort of a “Hark A Vagrant” style with this one.
